How Peer Organizations Capture Search Demand — and What Endeavor Miami Can Take From Them

Eighteen entrepreneur-support organizations analysed two ways: which search themes their site content is actually built to capture (Keyword Planner URL seeds), and whether they run Google Ads at all (Google Ads Transparency Center). Seven of them are other Endeavor offices — the benchmark set Endeavor Miami asked for.

Peers analysed 18Geo United States + each office's own country Sources Keyword Planner API + Ads Transparency Center + each site's own footer

1Method — and its limits

Two independent lenses, because "what a site is optimised for" and "what an org pays for" are different questions.

A peer does not need to be running ads to be included Inclusion is based on operating in the same category and competing for the same searches, not on whether the organisation currently buys Google Ads. An organisation with no paid activity but a dominant content footprint (Hello Alice, Techstars) is arguably the more useful benchmark — it shows what can be won without budget. Paid activity is reported as a separate dimension below.
Three peers returned unusable data Halcyon returned 2.8M searches/month dominated by waste management, and Village Capital returned 1.8M dominated by healthy food. In both cases the URL seed latched onto portfolio or unrelated page content rather than the organisation's own positioning. They are excluded from the rankings below rather than reported as real. Venture Café Miami returned zero addressable keywords — its site is thin and largely JavaScript-rendered, which is itself a finding.
Corrected 17 Aug: Endeavor México was previously reported here as "not measurable". That was a bad seed on our side — endeavor.mx is a construction company. Measured on mexico.endeavor.org it returns 41,280 searches/month and moves into the network table below.

2Who actually advertises

The striking result: most peers do not run Google Ads at all. One does, at enormous scale.

The opportunity this reveals In the entrepreneur-support category, paid search is close to empty. Techstars, Hello Alice and most Miami-local peers spend nothing, and eMerge Americas does not advertise its own domain — the three ads pointing at it belong to individuals. Inside the network only four offices buy ads at all: Brasil (30), Greece (8), México (4) and the Ecuador/Colombia chapters. That means Endeavor Miami is not fighting a crowded auction for mission-relevant terms — the 90% impression share lost to rank is caused by its own zero-conversion bidding, not by competitive pressure. It also means a well-run Grants account can own this category's search presence almost uncontested.
And one direct competitor to respect MicroMentor is Mercy Corps' free mentorship platform. Its brand term returns 390 searches/month — more than every Miami accelerator term combined. For the "find a mentor / become a mentor" audience it is the incumbent answer, and campaign 3 will meet it in the auction.

3The Endeavor network itself — the most useful benchmark

Endeavor Miami's strongest comparison set is not outside organisations at all. It is the other Endeavor offices, which run the same model under the same brand — and one of them has already solved exactly the problem this plan is trying to solve.

Each office is measured in its own country and language — Brasil pt/BR, Argentina and México es/MX, Poland pl/PL, Ukraine uk/UA, Greece el/GR, Global and Miami en/US — because measuring a Spanish-language office against US English demand returns nothing and reads as a zero that isn't real. That is exactly what happened in the first pass: "Endeavor México — not measurable" was our error, not a finding. The URL seed used endeavor.mx, which belongs to a Mexican construction company. On the correct domain México is the third-largest content footprint in the network. Live-ad counts come from the Ads Transparency Center, checked 17 Aug 2026: México, Ecuador and Colombia advertise on the shared endeavor.org domain (22 ads between them), Brasil on its own.

Endeavor Brasil has already proven this strategy works inside the Endeavor brand

Brasil captures 178,640 searches/month — nine times Endeavor Miami's footprint — and it does it with educational content, not with programme pages: business-plan guides, business ideas, social entrepreneurship, women's entrepreneurship. It is the same playbook SCORE and Hello Alice run, executed by a sister office, in a market with the same profile. And unlike most peers, Brasil also runs paid — 30 live ads.

This matters more than any external benchmark, because it removes the two objections that usually stop this approach: "that is not how Endeavor talks" and "that would not work for our audience". Another Endeavor office is doing it now. Argentina and México show the same pattern — mujeres emprendedoras, quiero emprender un negocio — which maps almost directly onto the Founder Community campaign proposed here.

The three offices that publish in their own language are the three with a real search footprint Brasil (178,640/mo), México (41,280) and Argentina (15,390) all write educational content in Portuguese or Spanish, and all three rank against the same intent: how do I start / grow a business. Poland, Ukraine and Greece run English-language sites in non-English markets — and their measurable footprint collapses to 8,740, ~0 and nothing respectively. Ukraine's site does not contain a single Cyrillic word.
This is the clearest evidence in the whole study that the language of the content, not the strength of the Endeavor brand, is what determines whether an office is findable. Endeavor Miami's situation is the same shape with a twist: it already publishes in the right language for its market — its content simply talks about the institution rather than about what founders are searching for.

Endeavor Miami's own /blog/ URL seed returns 430,800/month — comparable to the strongest peers. The gap is not a content gap. It is that none of that content is currently reachable by the campaigns, because the account runs on five keywords and sends every click to the homepage.

5The pattern that separates them

Every peer that captures real search volume leads with what the searcher wants — not with the organisation

SCORE does not rank for "SCORE mentoring program". It ranks for small business ideas (301,000/mo). Hello Alice does not rank for "Hello Alice platform". It ranks for small business grants (40,500/mo). MicroMentor ranks for start a small business (49,500/mo). Refresh Miami — a small local org — gets 346,370/mo by running a job board.

Endeavor Miami's site is written around the institution: "Entrepreneur Experience", "Endeavor Entrepreneurs", "Multiplier Effect". Beautiful brand language, near-zero search demand. That is the entire 37× gap against SCORE.

6Peer profiles

The benchmark

SCORE — 731,610/mo addressable · ~2,000 live ads · 501(c)(3)

The SBA-affiliated volunteer mentoring nonprofit, and the clearest model of what a maximally-deployed Ad Grant looks like. Top themes: small business ideas (301,000), business ideas (110,000), start a small business (49,500), business plan (33,100), business coach (12,100).

What they do that Endeavor Miami does not: a very large library of educational, top-of-funnel content — templates, guides, business-plan tools — each of which is a landing page for a high-volume generic query. Their mentoring programme is the conversion, not the hook.

Closest functional competitor

MicroMentor (Mercy Corps) — 314,520/mo · 6 live ads · 501(c)(3)

Free mentorship matching. Owns small business (49,500), start a small business (49,500), business coach (12,100), and its own brand at 390/mo. Runs almost no paid — its position is organic.

Implication: in campaign 3, Endeavor Miami is bidding into a space where the incumbent is not defending with budget. Differentiate on calibre — vetted, high-impact founders and senior mentors — rather than on volume.

Best positioning lesson

Hello Alice — 399,850/mo · 0 live ads

Wins entirely on grants and funding language: small business grants (40,500, HIGH competition), grants for women (12,100), grants for women owned businesses (9,900). Zero paid spend.

Implication: "access to capital" is the highest-intent, highest-volume concept in this category. Endeavor Miami has an /category/access-to-capital/ section with only 4 posts. Deepening that content is the single highest-leverage content investment available.

The parent

Endeavor Global — 372,280/mo · 3 live ads

Optimised for investor language: venture capital (110,000), angel investors (22,200), venture capital firms (18,100). Notably, Endeavor Mexico is a separate verified advertiser — chapters do run their own paid activity.

Implication: the parent already owns the investor/VC lane. Endeavor Miami should not duplicate it; the differentiated lanes are mentorship, local founder community and Miami ecosystem.

Local peers

Refresh Miami (346,370/mo) · eMerge Americas (181,290/mo) · Venture Café Miami (0)

Refresh Miami gets its volume from a job board — job board (33,100), post a job (22,200), miami jobs (9,900). A small local organisation solved the traffic problem by owning a high-volume utility, not by talking about itself.

eMerge Americas leans on ai investors (27,100) and startup news (9,900) — a conference monetising topical relevance.

Venture Café Miami returns zero addressable keywords, a reminder that a thin or JS-only site is invisible to both organic search and DSA.

7What Endeavor Miami should copy

#LessonFromHow it lands in this plan
0The strategy is already proven inside Endeavor — educational content, in local language, at 9× Miami's footprint, with paid supportEndeavor Brasil Removes the "this isn't how Endeavor talks" objection; Brasil and Argentina are the reference models for campaigns 4 and 6
1Lead with what the searcher wants, not the org nameSCORE, Hello Alice Campaign 4 targets mentorship, funding, women/Latino founders and podcast themes — not "Entrepreneur Experience"
2Content library as the traffic engineSCORE DSA over 179 posts, which is how a nonprofit reaches generic demand without a policy breach
3Own "access to capital"Hello Alice Ad group AG_Scaling_And_Capital; and a content recommendation to grow that category past 4 posts
4Mentorship is the winnable non-brand laneMicroMentor Campaign 3 gets the largest non-brand Search budget ($55/day) against 2,790 searches/mo
5Do not duplicate the parent's VC laneEndeavor Global No venture-capital keywords in the Miami account
6The auction is nearly empty — take itTechstars, Hello Alice at 0 ads Justifies bidding aggressively once conversion signal returns; rank loss today is self-inflicted
7A thin site is invisibleVenture Café Miami Reinforces fixing /scaleup/ and updating the services section before launch
The one-sentence version Endeavor Miami already owns peer-scale content (430,800/mo addressable through its blog) but points its advertising at institutional language with 210 searches/month. Closing that gap is what this plan does — in an auction almost nobody else is paying to compete in, using a playbook Endeavor Brasil has already validated inside the same brand.
